1. Who we are

UZRA Inc. is the controller of personal data processed through torima.in Global Research. Contact us at privacy@torima.in.

2. Data we collect from clients

Account details (name, work email, company), billing information processed by Stripe, and the content of the studies you create.

3. Data we collect from participants

Panel profile attributes, self-declared eligibility answers, and the interview transcript. Participants are told before they begin how their responses will be used.

4. What clients receive

Clients receive a study-scoped participant ID and only the attributes they selected for — such as gender band, age band, region and occupation. Names, contact details, exact ages and free-text identifiers are removed before delivery.

5. Purpose and legal basis

We process data to perform our contract with you, to pay participant incentives, to meet accounting obligations, and — on the basis of legitimate interests — to detect fraud and improve moderation quality.

6. Processors and transfers

We use Stripe for payments, a cloud provider for hosting, and machine translation and language-model providers for transcription, translation and summarisation. Interview content may be processed outside Japan under appropriate safeguards.

7. Retention

Transcripts and reports are retained for the life of your account and for 24 months afterwards. Participant payment records are retained for 7 years as required by Japanese tax law.

8. Your rights

Participants and clients may request access, correction, deletion or a copy of their data, and may object to certain processing. We respond within 30 days.

9. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to interview content is restricted to staff who need it to operate the service and is logged.

10. Changes

We will post any change on this page and, where the change is material, notify account holders by email.
