Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of the torima.in Global Research service operated by UZRA Inc. ("we", "us"). By creating an account or paying for a study you accept these Terms.

2. The service

We recruit participants from the torima.in panel, conduct AI-moderated interviews in Japanese on your behalf, and deliver summaries, transcripts and reports in the language you selected for the study.

We do not guarantee any particular finding, only the delivery of completed interviews meeting your stated criteria.

3. Fees and payment

Studies are paid in full before recruiting begins. Fees comprise a platform fee per participant and the participant incentive you select.

Prices are in US dollars and are tax-inclusive; no tax is added on top of the amount shown.

4. Refunds

If a session is not completed within 30 days of launch, the platform fee and incentive for that session are refunded in full to the original payment method.

You may stop recruiting at any time and receive a refund for sessions not yet started.

5. Participant protection

Participants self-declare against your criteria and consent to their responses being anonymised, translated and shared with you.

You may not attempt to identify, contact or re-target a participant, or use the data to build a profile of an individual.

6. Your data and ours

You own the research outputs of your studies. We retain the right to use aggregated, de-identified operational data to improve the service.

You grant us the licence necessary to translate, summarise and store interview content in order to deliver the service.

7. Acceptable use

Studies must not solicit sensitive personal data, promote a product under the guise of research, or pursue an unlawful purpose. We may cancel and refund a study that does.

8. Liability

Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid for the study giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

9. Changes and termination

We may change these Terms with 30 days' notice. Either party may close the account at any time; paid studies in progress are completed or refunded.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court.
